<p class="style1"><font class="justifed">Makow
Associates Architect Inc. was established in 1984 and is comprised of
a team of talented custom homes architects and retirement homes designers, headed by custom homes architect Stan
Makow. The Toronto architectural firm specializes in toronto custom homes ranging
in size from 3,000 to 20,000 square feet and construction of retirement homes.</font></p>
<p class="style1"><font class="justifed">The design philosophy
of the firm is that well-executed architecture evolves from an interior
layout where spaces flow naturally from one to another and function to
satisfy the clients requirements.</font></p>
<p class="style1"><font class="justifed">Stan Makow's particular
strength is listening to his clients and developing an architecture that
is an expression of their lifestyle needs and stylistic preferences combined
with Stan's own keen design sense. He is a very versatile designer, as
is evident in his exteriors which range from classical to modern according
to client's preferences. </font></p>
<p class="style1"><font class="justifed">Over the years, Makow
Associates has developed a reputation for creating exceptional custom home and residential
architecture. Evident in all Makow designs is a wonderful use of light,
space and form, the use of these elements have helped the firm win several
design competitions.</font></p>
<p class="style1"><font class="justifed">Throughout the 90's,
Makow Associates Architects has expanded it's business into many exciting
commercial projects including, mixed use urban in-fill building, high-rise
condominiums, retirement homes, hotel interiors, a fitness studio, golf
course club house, and vacation properties.</font></p>
<p class="style1"><font class="justifed">Makow's office is fully
computerized allowing for efficiency and accuracy. During the design phase
he uses hand and/or computer generated perspectives of the interior and
the exterior. These are used as design tools and allow the client to participate
in the design process. Interior design is integral to the concept and
is performed simultaneously to the architectural design by in-house interior
design staff. After the design concept is established, Makow provides
a detailed budget analysis of the construction cost of every element in
the project. During the detail design stage they monitor changes that effect
the cost so that the client is kept up to date with the current project
cost.</font></p>
<p class="style1"><font class="justifed">Makow Associates Architect
work has been featured in Canadian Architect Magazine, The OAA Perspectives
Magazine and other consumer publications. Stan's houses have been recognized
by the award programs of the <a href="www.oaa.on.ca" target="_blank">OAA</a> and the Toronto Home Builders Association. </font></p>
